Puppy Chow Recipe
Ingredients
- 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
- Place the coated cereal in a large resealable bag or container.
- Add the powdered sugar to the bag or container, seal it, and shake until well-coated.
- Spread the Puppy Chow on a baking sheet to cool.
- Once cooled, enjoy your delicious Puppy Chow!
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
